HSBC and Promenaut: Building the Enterprise of the Future

We are living through one of the most extraordinary moments in the history of technology. AI has the potential to change how organisations work, how value is created, how decisions are made, how entire industries operate. That potential is genuinely historic.

And yet, most large enterprises aren't seeing the real gains because the infrastructure to realise it doesn't exist yet.

That's what we built Promenaut - to enable regulated enterprise to deliver real ROI on their AI initiatives.

And today, we're announcing that HSBC, one of the largest and most complex financial institutions in the world, has become a major strategic partner, with Promenaut, and is already live in production.

The gap I kept seeing, across every regulated enterprise I spoke to, was architecture. Organisations have been layering AI onto processes that were designed for people, adding a copilot here, an agent there, wiring it into existing systems. It works, up to a point. But you can't get a fundamentally different outcome from a process that was built for a different era, just because you've added AI to one step of it.

The enterprises making real progress are working backward from a bolder question: what would our organisation and our systems need to look like to actually capture the value of AI?

That question demands a different kind of platform.

We've seen what that future looks like. An enterprise where people and AI agents operate as one governed workforce. Where every action is visible, every decision is traceable, and the organisation gets smarter with every workflow that runs. It's a compounding system of intelligence, not a collection of disconnected AI experiments. A digital workforce that widens your competitive advantage over time.

Getting there is a multi-stage journey, and it requires the right foundation.

Regulated enterprises need a platform that sits between the organisation and AI, built for governance and scalability from the ground up. Not bolted on after the fact. Not dependent on any single model or cloud provider. An operating system for the hybrid workforce, with the oversight, audit trails, and controls that large institutions require before they can say yes to AI at real scale.

That's Promenaut.

I started this company because I kept meeting genuinely brilliant people at banks, insurers, and other highly regulated industries who had all the ambition in the world for AI and none of the governance to actually run it at scale. I understood those constraints from the inside and I built Promenaut to close that gap.

HSBC is a long-term strategic partner in the fullest sense. They share our conviction about where enterprise AI is going. They are thinking seriously and boldly about what the next decade of their organisation looks like. They are thinking about how AI reshapes not just individual tasks, but the structure of work itself. That alignment of vision is what makes this partnership meaningful beyond any single use case. It's why we're proud to be building that future alongside them.

The enterprise of the future will look very different from today. We have the roadmap to get there. We're just getting started.
